How can we obey, that which we do not trust? How can we trust, that which we do not believe? How can we believe, that which we do not know? How can we know, that which we do not learn? How do we learn, that which we do not read.
As disciples, we believe God first loved us, even when we were His enemies. He regenerated and raised our soul from spiritual death. He has called us out of the darkness to embrace His Son -- Jesus, the Light of the world. God, through the Holy Spirit, continues to transform us to be more like Christ. As His children, we read, listen, learn, and obey Him in Scripture, God’s special revelation and message to His people. We read in order to learn and obey GOD -- out of gratitude for His sacrificial gift to us in Christ Jesus our personal Savior and Lord.
