What a wonderful time of getting to know Jin's family. The warm fire was a compliment to the beautiful view of the city lights. We got to see Jin's room and his plants. His little dog stopped barking at us after about 30 minutes. He also had a tank of fish! Dinner was excellent, and we had some chestnuts and ice cream for dessert. We had a praise night the day before for awareness of the homeless. Jr. High, High School, and EM came together to represent the homeless. We joined over 6,000 other walkers from the city, and out of 250 teams, we were 24th in fundraising! With the money collected from the event, they'll be able to build permanent supportive housing units for about 2,000-3,000 of the most chronically homeless in LA.
Jr. High! We made a difference! It doesn't matter how small or young you are, when you reach out for others from the love of God inside you! LOVE you guys! (pc)
Needed to have a talk as servant leaders in Discipleship. To pray and fellowship. Continue to pray for student leadership to grow in the maturity of Christ and serve with a heart for others.
After our Bible Study, we had a bonfire fellowship with smores.
