Crazy gift exchange. Students got a chance to take someone else's gift, up to 3 times. It was madness at times. We thought it would never end. But it finally did, and kids had all sorts of gifts. Finally, we got to practice some Yut-no-ri... and they picked it up very fast and seemed like Korean Veterans who had been playing for years. It was funny to hear kids screaming, "Just get a 'guhl' and you can catch them!"
After a 26 hr drive from Houston, TX, our former teacher Ann reunited with us! The first picture shows the three dragons! Crazy eh? They're all 12 years apart. We celebrated at the Park's for lunch. Then in the evening, we had a celebration of another year as Elder Chung graciously invited us to his new home with a wonderful dinner and Yut-no-ri. This year, we had married vs. single vs. students. The students incredibly won. A bit of sad news... the Lakers actually lost to the Denver Nuggets. In case you were wondering, it was Kim Samoneem's birthday on the 27th, so we had pie.
What a wonderful show of support! We had so many families represent their children in learning about Jr. High Ministry and how they can lead in the raising of their children in a godly way. Our prayer is that we may be a support for all our families! Thank you parents for the privilege of loving and supporting your families with the Truth of God.
