Some of the jr. high students went around to raise funds for the 30 Hour Famine to give to World Vision. They sold nachos and also raised funds at their school. A total of $840 was raised! We had a time of prayer, Bible Study, and activities which helped us to reflect on what it is like to be hungry. So many people hunger every day. After the message by PC, the games began to help the kids reflect on famine around the world. T.Sharon was giving directions to her game. After each activity, the jr. highers were able to journal their thoughts in their notebooks. Teacher Steve is trying to give directions to the games. T.Lizzy led the games with the balloons. And there's Deacon Park making sure no one gets hurt. Oh, T.Danny right there in the corner looking very charming. There was a construction game and a game called capture the dragon's tail. Ah yes! We LOVE our PTA and Chin JSN. She leads our annual "Closing Ceremonies" to our 30 Hour Famine with Jook (Rice porridge). It is always SOOOOOOO GOOOD!
